Not bills, not flyers, not endless emails demanding our attention—but something thoughtful. Something chosen with care. Something beautiful enough to make you pause before opening it.
That feeling is at the heart of Libby & Alice Mail Club.
We’re Libby and Alice, two friends whose friendship began nearly thirty years ago at university in Sheffield. Life has taken us in very different directions since then—across countries, careers, and time zones—but one thing has remained constant: a shared love of beauty, flowers, art, and the simple joy of meaningful connection.
Over the years, we found ourselves returning again and again to the same question: in a world that feels increasingly fast, noisy, and digital, how do we create more moments of calm, beauty, and delight?
Our answer was surprisingly simple.
Through the post.
Libby & Alice Mail Club was born from our love of botanical treasures, vintage paper, handwritten notes, and flowers that tell stories. We believe there is something deeply comforting about holding something beautiful in your hands—something tactile, personal, and made with care.
Much of our inspiration comes from the extraordinary botanical illustrations of Pierre-Joseph Redouté, whose roses have captivated us for years. His artwork feels timeless: delicate yet detailed, romantic yet scientific, elegant yet full of life. More than 200 years after they were painted, those roses still stop us in our tracks.
That is the kind of beauty we hope to share.
Each month, we will send carefully curated floral art, thoughtful letters, and paper treasures designed to bring a little joy to your letterbox. Think of it as a gentle pause in your month—a small ritual of beauty waiting on your doorstep.
This isn’t just about flowers. It’s about slowing down. It’s about noticing beauty.
